Special Characteristics:
Have long, wide and pendulous ears; horns are of medium length and thickness, either nearly straight or with a slight inclination backwards or homonymously twisted; have concave, straight or convex facial profile, bulging forehead; body is stout, the back straight with short and slightly sloping rump; the chest and belly are fairly deep; the thighs moderately muscled, the legs are long and hooves are strong; the coat hair is commonly short, rarely long, and usually white, red-and-white or brown-and-white in colour, sometimes red, grey or greyish blue (Epstein, 1971).
