Special Characteristics:
The ears are of medium size but flabby; fairly large in body size with adult weights of 30 to 40 kg; both sexes are horned; the horns are moderately large and project upwards then slightly backwards, with a homonymous twist; the coat hair is usually short, but males are often furnished with long hair on the upper part of the extremities, in some, whole body is covered with long hair; the coat colour is very variable: black, white, yellow, grey in plain or mixed pattern (Epstein, 1971).
