Hamdani

Origin: 
It is considered as a strain of the Karadi Sheep.
Habitat: 
The breed is distributed in areas with sufficient rainfall in the northern mountainous and forest region having 400-1000 mm rain, with good pastures in spring, and with shrubs and perenial vegetation of high nutritive value. And in the semi-humid steppes (southern downs) of the mountainous region having 350-500 mm rain. Barley and wheat are cultivated and good gasses on fallow during spring.
